The Bare Boxes project was created by myself and Lily Hannah for Harrow Arts Centre. We spent a week working with the young people at HAC, culminating in a performance for family and friends. ​

Lily and I wanted to create a project using materials that could be found anywhere in the world, to offer the idea that anyone can find ways of telling a story, and to suggest that the ordinary can be made extraordinary.  

We worked with the boxes individually, and then collectively, as we slowly built a story and set together with the young people of Harrow.
